Watch the birdie!

The installation of all the new solar powered cameras has now taken place so that pupils can look into the secret world of our feathered friends.

As part of the Royal Horticultural Society’s (turning grey spaces green) grant, we have installed three new bird boxes and two bird feeders – each installation containing a solar powered camera.

The bird feeders are seeing many new feathered visitors, but as the bird boxes were a little late in being installed, we are still awaiting for new inhabitants.

All the cameras will be shared with each class group, enabling pupils to see into the hidden world of the bird box and survey the different birds that visit the school grounds.
