🪑✨ **Exciting New Arrivals at Woodlands Academy!** ✨🪑

We are delighted to announce the arrival of our brand-new **sensory rocking chairs**, marking the beginning of an exciting research opportunity here at Woodlands Academy! 💙

In collaboration with OSI - Office & Educational Furniture, we are preparing to launch a case study exploring the potential impact of sensory-integrated seating on our pupils' **emotional regulation, engagement in learning and overall classroom experience.**

🧠 Through this exciting project, we will be investigating how alternative seating options can support our pupils to:

⭐ Develop their emotional and sensory regulation

⭐ Improve focus, attention and engagement in learning

⭐ Increase time spent positively engaged in the classroom

⭐ Reduce barriers to learning through sensory-informed approaches

As a specialist SEMH school, we are passionate about exploring innovative, evidence-informed approaches that enable every young person to thrive.

A huge thankyou to Osi Ltd for supporting this exciting opportunity. We cannot wait to see our pupils putting these chairs to the test and to share our findings as the project progresses!
