Reading celebrations such as World Book Day are used to emphasise the importance of reading and encourage pupils to read at home.
We also attend regular Virtual Author Events, during the virtual events pupils can ask the authors and illustrators questions which promotes their curiosity and comprehension of a variety of books throughout the year.
We hold annual Book Fairs to allow pupils to access a wider range of reading experiences and materials.
We have reading corners and reading areas around school to celebrate our love of reading!
